The company was the first European vehicle dismantler to be awarded the Automotive Recyclers Association Improvement and Beautification Merit Award which is awarded for best practice and is one of the highest achievements in industry.
Overton was used as a model for similar operations throughout the world after the visit of twenty members of the Automotive Recyclers Association from the United States.
